TechPro® Polymer-Modified Stone Veneer Base Coat is a cementitious scratch and base coat for real or manufactured stone veneer. Formulated with dried sand and performance admixtures, it creates a highly bondable substrate and ensures batch-to-batch consistency. The special admixtures provide both mechanical and chemical bonding, outperforming standard Type S and N mortars. This product is Step 1 of the TechPro® stone veneer system and can be applied over TechPro® Moisture Barrier or directly onto fully cured concrete for decorative exterior or non-load-bearing interior walls.
