Poultry Grit Pecking Block

Cherry Stone® Poultry Grit Pecking Block is a supplemental feed block that offers the benefits of feeding grit to all types of poultry with additional benefits that include reducing flock stress, boredom, unwanted, and aggressive behaviors in the flock. The Poultry Grit Pecking Block contains primarily #2 (3/16) poultry grit that is pressed into block that measures 9 x 9 x 6.5 in. and weighs 25 lb. Poultry grit offers all types of poultry, game birds, and pigeons the ability to properly digest their food. The Grit settles and stays in the gizzard to process their food due to the lack of teeth and the inability to grind up the food for proper digestion and nutrition. Cherry Stone poultry grit is 100% natural quartzite that is processed to the correct size for use as a critical component for the health and nutrition of the birds. There is no concern regarding the size of the grit. Birds will naturally avoid grit particles that are too large for their gizzard.
