Tenon® Castable Refractory Cement can be used to construct profiles for fireplaces, barbeques, ovens, and chimneys, as well as to cast solid stove beds. This dry, preblended mix is also suited for replacing fire brick in fireplaces, wood stoves, fire pit rings, barbeques, and pizza ovens, and for repairing damaged chimney applications such as broken clay flue liners and heavy-thickness parging of smoke chambers. Formulated with a specially engineered blend of performance cements and aggregates, it delivers exceptional heat resistance and thermal performance for demanding high-temperature applications. Passes ASTM C199 for temperature limits to resist 2,550°F (1400°C) for a minimum of 6 hours without melting or burning.
