Akona® Concrete/Masonry Set Accelerator

Akona® Concrete/Masonry Set Accelerator (BOM #103963) is an ASTM C494, Type C, non-chloride, non-corrosive, liquid that improves workability and initial strength while it reduces the hydration time of cement. The product is recommended for use during cooler weather to accelerate set time and reduce the risk of frozen mortar and concrete mixes. It is also recommended for use when early strength gain is desired to speed up projects. Akona Concrete/Masonry Set Accelerator provides a reduced curing time, faster set time and increased early strength. The product speeds finishing operations in any weather condition without any corrosive effects.


Akona® Heavy-Duty Waterproofing Base Coat

Akona® Heavy-Duty Waterproofing Base Coat (BOM #102624) is a Portland cement-based, waterproof coating for use over concrete, block, brick or stucco surfaces. Use for interior or exterior coating of foundation, basement or retaining walls below or above grade. When applied over non-uniform areas, this product provides a smooth or textured surface that can be left as a finished decorative coating. In addition, this product can serve as a base coat for paint or similar faux finishes.


Akona® Instant Water Stop

Akona® Instant Water Stop is a quick-setting, hydraulic cement compound used primarily as a water stop or hole filler on concrete or masonry materials. It is formulated to expand when set and locks into place to block flowing water within 3 to 5 minutes. Instant Water Stop bonds to wet walls and is ideal for patching cracks and leaks in swimming pools and is available in 10 lb. bags (BOM #102635) and 25 lb. bags (BOM #102636)


Akona® Mortar Repair

Akona® Commercial Grade Mortar Repair (BOM #103174) is designed for tuck-pointing, repairing, and sealing mortar joints and cracks in masonry units such as stone, brick and block walls. The product is gray in color and designed to blend in with the texture of surrounding mortar. Our durable, pre-mixed Mortar Repair is a sanded, acrylic formulation that dries quickly, is paintable, and provides superior adhesion to masonry.


Akona® Pre-Mixed Concrete & Stucco Patch

Akona® Pre-Mixed Concrete & Stucco Patch (BOM #103962) is a water-based formula intended to patch minor cracks, holes, and surface defects in concrete or stucco. Product may also be used for residential repairs of masonry walls and re-applying small broken pieces of concrete or tuck pointing brick mortar joints. Pre-Mixed Concrete & Stucco Patch offers superior adhesion and may be used for vertical or horizontal patches. 


Akona® White Glass Block Mortar

Akona® White Glass Block Mortar (BOM # 102627) is a specially-formulated blend of select white silica sands, white cement and workability agents which result in an easy-to-handle, high strength mortar. It is designed for installing glass block windows, shower and bath walls or masonry units where a white mortar is desired. This product is suitable for both interior and exterior applications.


Akonaseal® Polyurethane Masonry/Joint Sealant

Akonaseal™ Polyurethane Masonry/Joint Sealant (BOM #104561) has an updated package and name (previously called Polyurethane Construction Textured Sealant). A premium-grade, multi-purpose, moisture-cure sealant, designed to meet the flexibility requirements of dynamically moving cracks and joints, this texturized, gray mortar-colored sealant is ideally suited for vertical concrete, stucco or masonry applications with a maximum joint of 1"W x ½"D and can be painted with a latex paint when cured. Complies with ASTM C920, Federal Specification TTS-00230C, and is VOC compliant.


QUIKRETE® Mason Mix

QUIKRETE® Mason Mix (BOM #106514) is a high strength Commercial Grade dry pre-blended mixture of sand and cements specially selected for masonry applications. Meets N, S, M requirements as specified in ASTM C270. Just add water. Also available in a 60 lb. bag (BOM #105673) at some locations.


QUIKRETE® Mortar Mix - Type N

QUIKRETE® Mortar Mix (BOM #100533) is a blend of masonry cement and graded sand, designed to meet ASTM C 270 for Type N Mortar. Just add water and mix to construct or repair block, brick, or stone structures like walls, pillars, barbecues, planters, and for tuck-pointing mortar joints.


QUIKRETE® Surface Bonding Cement

QUIKRETE® Quikwall Surface Bonding Cement is an alkali-resistant, fiberglass-reinforced, Portland cement based, surface bonding cement used for construction of dry-stack (without mortar) cement block walls. Available in Gray (BOM #101359) and White (BOM #100246). Add color with QUIKRETE® Stucco & Mortar Color.


TCC Materials® Corefill Masonry Grout

TCC Materials® Corefill Masonry Grout (BOM #103501) is used to fill reinforced bond beams, to bond adjacent masonry units together, to bond steel reinforcement in the cores of masonry units and for filling masonry voids. Core Fill Masonry Grout is formulated for superior flow to fill masonry voids while meeting ASTM C476 requirements for reinforced masonry construction. Yields approximately ⅕ of a cubic foot of wet grout per 80 lb. (36.3 kg) bag. For concrete block this will fill about 4 cores in a 12" unit or about 5.5 cores in an 8" unit. Available in a 80 lb. (36.3 kg) bag.


TCC Materials® Masonry Joint Grout

TCC Materials® Masonry Joint Grout (BOM #103491) can be used to grout joint spaces in and between artificial stone, brick, masonry, and natural stone. It is a preblended mixture of dry cementitious materials and masonry sand that is designed to fill joints between masonry veneer systems. This product can be used for interior or exterior applications. The product is preblended with air-entrainment admixtures to resist freeze-thaw conditions, while increasing flow and durability. Specially formulated for clean installation and flow properties to eliminate clogging when using a grout bag. Available in 60 lb. (27.2 kg) bag.


TCC Materials® Stone Mortar Mix

TCC Materials® Stone Mortar Mix (BOM #109043) is a specially formulated product for use in applying precast masonry veneer, thin natural stone veneer or thin brick units to base surfaces. This versatile product may be used as an initial base coat for your project, then can be used in applying masonry veneer to the substrate. The material is factory blended to ensure bond strength, workability and consistency. To mix, just add water. Follow the stone installation instructions provided by the manufacturer. Available in a 60 lb. (27.2 kg) bag.
